The AST security family consist of products that do not require professional services to install. Typical installation is done in hours not days as with most every security / encryption product available today. Astrum allows customers to apply policy templates before deployment based on compliance regulations - for example SOX, HIPAA, or PCI have base line requirements that should be implemented as part of a secure data strategy. ASTsecure is a hardened appliance so policies become locked and can only be changed if the right card key is inserted. If you are part of the designated “Secure Group” then your data is encrypted by default when you log out, and by definition SECURE with 128 bit 3DES encryption. Enterprise Performance, no problem with over 5,000 simultaneous concurrent users ASTsecure was not even close to it’s full capacity, with plenty of room to spare. |
